Set scheduler.IsReadOnly to true.

Unfortunately, setting the scheduler to readonly prevents the appointment dialog from appearing which I still need to occur.

I just want to prevent users from dragging their appointment on the scheduler and dropping them on another date.

Is there a way to accomplish what I want - preventing drag/drop of appointments in the scheduler, yet, still retain the appointment dialog?

Thanks!

You can subscribe to a BeforeRescheduleAppointment and set e.Cancel to true. However, this does not stop the appointment from being dragged, it just disables it from being saved when dropped and effectively disables rescheduling by dragging.

We are coming out with a new service release in a couple of weeks. It will allow you to totally disable dragging.

If it is crucial that no dragging at all happens, let us know and we will escalate.

I look forward to the next release which will fit nicely with our release schedule. Thank you.
